ARC Soil – Soldier Fly FrassÂ
A by-product of the production of Black Soldier Fly larvae through the ARC Processâ„¢ is a high micronutrient ammonia rich fertiliser. It is produced from the accelerated digestion and de-composition of the organic components of MSW.
A unique feature of this fertiliser is its high chitin content, a nutrient essential for plant health and growth. ARCsoil™ can be used in horticulture applications as well as in general crops without the risk of leaching of chemicals into the environment. As the fertiliser is characteristically a soil it can also be used for top soil regeneration of contaminated sites and mine rehabilitation applications.

Rick Willis (verified owner) –
Black soldier fly frass (droppings, skeletal remains) is a great natural and slow release fertiliser (good for native plants), available in bulk from Sage Horticultural at a very reasonable price. The frass is produced in the degradation of agricultural manure and thus is great recycling that does not involve seaweed harvesting or chemical industries. I have been buying this now for a couple of years from Sage, and I can strongly recommend. Shipping costs are minimal and the bags of frass (6 kg or 20 kg) come usually very promptly and well packaged.
