Professor’s Nutrients Coco- Perlite Blend is a mix consisting of 70% Coco Coir and 30% Perlite. Professor’s Coco / Perlite blend carries the RHP Certification, ensuring it remains pure and clean throughout the production process, delivering high quality attributes. It is washed and prebuffered and maintains a pH range of 5.5 – 6.5.
Perlite is a common addition to Coco Coir, being highly favoured for its excellent drainage capabilities while maintaining high moisture levels, alleviating the risks of over-watering. The main advantage of a perlite blend is its ability to keep the grow medium aerated. Plants need oxygen to thrive and survive, and perlite particles create tiny air tunnels which allow moisture and oxygen to flow freely to plant roots. This is important, as most of the oxygen a plant gets is through its roots. Perlites hardness, along with its very low density and internal pockets of air prevent compaction, allowing roots to penetrate deeply, improving the rate of growth, and providing an oxygen-rich environment for roots to grow.

Once your order is scanned by the courier you will receive an automated email with a
tracking link so you can see the status and progress of your delivery, you will also receive an
additional email once your order is delivered.
Most in stock items are dispatched within 24 to 48 hours, with an average 1-3 business day
delivery to cities and most regional centres in Victoria, Tasmania South Australia, New South
Wales, and Southern Queensland. All other regions have an average 3-5 business day
delivery time, remote/rural areas may take longer.

Shipping & Delivery
Oversize items require a specialised delivery method, unfortunately this can’t be automated,
however we are able to provide freight quotes specific to your requirements.
We have several options available, these include tail gate lift truck, forklift load and delivery
to a site with a forklift, delivery to a nearby depot for pick up or if you are in Victoria we can
deliver in one of our trucks. You can also arrange your own freight and we can forklift load
for no extra charge.
We charge freight at our cost and don’t add any margin. If you purchase an oversized item
online and are not satisfied with the delivery cost we will happily refund your purchase.
