When included in your growing mix it improves aeration and drainage at the roots. Being in inorganic, Perlite does not deteriorate or break down. In outdoor gardens, Perlite acts as an insulator, reducing extreme soil temperature fluctuations. With Roofscape Gardening becoming popular, Perlite is being chosen as the medium of choice, due to being so light in weight.

door. For all orders, we use the most suitable premium courier service. Our delivery

Once your order is scanned by the courier you will receive an automated email with a

Most in stock items are dispatched within 24 to 48 hours, with an average 1-3 business day
delivery to cities and most regional centres in Victoria, Tasmania South Australia, New South
Wales, and Southern Queensland. All other regions have an average 3-5 business day
delivery time, remote/rural areas may take longer.

Shipping & Delivery
Oversize items require a specialised delivery method, unfortunately this can’t be automated,
however we are able to provide freight quotes specific to your requirements.
We have several options available, these include tail gate lift truck, forklift load and delivery
to a site with a forklift, delivery to a nearby depot for pick up or if you are in Victoria we can
deliver in one of our trucks. You can also arrange your own freight and we can forklift load
for no extra charge.
We charge freight at our cost and don’t add any margin. If you purchase an oversized item
online and are not satisfied with the delivery cost we will happily refund your purchase.

I purchased both medium and coarse sized perlite for my carnivorous plants collections. The medium size is suitable for smaller pots less than 10cm diameter, and coarse for pots 15cm and above. Very good product at an excellent price!
